Ayacucho - A Brief History of Maestro Falcon

A brief history
In July 1995, the master Don Abraham FALCÒN GARCÌA came in Ayacucho to teach to people the construction of the guitar’s Peruvian type. These courses took place in the National Institute of the culture of Ayacucho, and the ones in charge of the organisation had to regulate the consent of the guitars’ builders of Ayacucho.

In July 1996, Don Abraham came back to go on the courses, and for this occasion, there was the presence of a lot of guitars’builders de nuestro medio, which were here to learn from his experience. Don Abraham proposed to form an association of the guitars’ builders of the region. Once the motion was given, the probable participants then agreed and took the initiative of to form it. Our first meeting to give the first step was in August the 15 of 1996, day when took place the first all-together decision, about the course's closing for that year.

It took them exactly 10 years to meet again all together, and so to make their institution a reality. They had to pass through the legal process to consolidate the association. Present for a meeting on Sunday, June the 25 of 2005, the following participants went on the project:

ANGEL GOMEZ EYZAGUIRRE
JUAN PALOMINO GUTIERREZ
OTON PAREDES APARICIO
HENRY RAMOS APARICIO
GUALBERTO TUCNO ROCHA
GERMAN ZAMORA NAVARRO
